SOLUTIONS
Cutting-edge probes for enhanced microscopy
Revolutionary two-photon fluorescent probes
Our vision is to allow all users of two-photon microscopy to enjoy the superior resolution offered by four-photon microscopy. Our mission is to develop solutions within multiphoton microscopy to researchers designed for their needs.
Combining the best of two- and four-photon microscopy
Our probes merge the advantages of two-photon microscopy (low excitation energies, standard lasers around 800 nm, and optimal tissue penetration) with the high spatial resolution of four-photon microscopy (150 nm or less, being a substantial improvement compared to one- or two-photon excitation schemes using similar hardware) implying a true paradigm shift in multiphoton microscopy. By leveraging our probes, researchers can achieve four-photon-like resolution while maintaining compatibility with existing two-photon equipment, offering a unique value in a cost-effective way to upgrade without major investments.
RESEARCH
Pioneering European innovation in fluorescent probe research
Our innovative solution is a result of the “4for2” research project, a collaboration among leading European universities, funded by the European Innovation Council. The research is led by Professor Joakim Andréasson, a renowned expert in controlling the fluorescence properties of organic chromophores. With over 20 years of research experience in stimuli-responsive fluorescent systems, Professor Andréasson has earned significant recognition in the field. He has received the ERC Starting Grant, been appointed Senior Researcher by the Swedish Research Council, and currently serves as a board member of the Swedish Chemical Society.
